The zinc metalizing wire in the thermal spray gun process is basically the spraying of molten metal onto a surface to provide a coating. To molten zinc wire arc spray gun, the flame spray gun is used. Zinc metalizing wire is melted in a flame with the help of oxygen and acetylene and atomized using compressed air to form a fine spray. When the molten metal contacts the prepared surface of a substrate it rapidly solidifies and forms a coating. This zinc wire thermal spray process is called the cold process relative to the substrate material which is being coated the substrate temperature can be kept low during the process to avoid damage of substrate, metallurgical changes, and distortion to the substrate material.
